Kulbhushan Jain, architect-urbanist and conservation consultant studied and worked with Louis Kahn. He taught at CEPT University, Ahmedabad, for more than four decades and held various positions including Director, School of Architecture, and Chairman, Doctoral Programme. He has been visiting professor at MIT, Cambridge, USA; UBC, Vancouver, Canada and Polemi, Milano. He has worked as consultant to NID, Ahmedabad; INTACH, New Delhi and MMT, Jodhpur. Jain has published several books, articles and conference papers. He has been a member of several juries for national and international design competitions.
Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Khare, Professor and Dean Academics, (Founder Director SPA Bhopal, 2009-2014 July) SCHOOL OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE, BHOPAL. (Institution of National Importance, Government of India) Member of Berkeley Teaching Fellowship 2013 endorsed by University of California, Berkeley. B. Fulbright Fellowship for Education Administrators 2011 at various universities of the USA. C. India-Yale Leadership Programme 2011 for Institute Heads at Yale University, USA. D. DMU Bursary 2000-03 for PhD at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. E. Charles Wallace India Trust Fellowship 1994-95 for PG programme at York University, UK. Published several books and research papers.
Dr. Madhumita Roy, architect-urban designer and an academician, has worked with West Bengal Housing Board (WBHB) and Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) and currently professor at Jadhavpur University. She was Director, Amity School of Architecture and Planning, Amity University, Kolkata. She is member of several organizations. She is an active researcher since twenty five years. The research works are presented in International, National level conferences, seminars & published in journals, magazines, reports, etc and some of those works are implemented & still under operation in various Govt departments
Prof. (Dr.) Vijayalaxmi Kasinath Iyer, Associate Professor at Department of Planning and Architecture Anna University Chennai. Her area of expertise is Energy studies and Sustainable architecture. She is supervisor and research progress member for Doctoral research and have published several papers in National and International journals.
Dr. D. Vijay Kishore, Architect -urban planner and academician. He is associated with School of Planning and Architecture, Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture & Fine Arts University, Hyderabad. He has held posts of Professor, Principal and Director. He is awarded Andhra Pradesh Government, Best Teacher in Architecture Award in 2011 and won Citation from Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He has headed various research projects like Development Strategies for Coastal Regulation Zones of Andhra Pradesh‟ under Research Promotion Scheme of AICTE, New Delhi, Modernized Digital Design Lab‟ in DTDP Dept. Under MODROBS scheme of AICTE, New Delhi., Change in Dynamics of Land Uses on the Land Management System in Metropolitan Areas‟ funded by All India Council for Technical Education under R&D grant.
Dr. Tutu Sengupta is associated with the Maharashtra Remote Sensing Applications Centre (MRSAC), Dept. of Planning Govt. of Maharashtra. She has many academic achievements including Ph.D degree in Physics, M.Sc, DBM, Hons. Dip. in System Management. She has been working for over 26 years in the field of Remote Sensing, Image Interpretation and Processing, Geographic Information System, Imparting and conducting training programs in Remote sensing, GIS, Global Positioning Systems, Pattern Recognition techniques to officials at various levels of administration in the Govt. as well as students. Ph. D in Physics at RTM Nagpur University.
Meghal Arya is Associate Professor, Faculty of Architecture, CEPT University. After graduating from School of Architecture, CEPT University completed Masters in Architecture from Georgia institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA. She taught at CEPT University as Visiting Faculty for five years before joining up full time in 2005. She teaches Design Studios, History and Theory, Humanities, and Construction. She has been Guide and Juror at various institutions at her own Faculty and the School of Interior Design at CEPT University; and Georgia Institute of Technology, and Schools of Architecture in Rajkot and Valsad. She also partners in an Ahmedabad based practice ‘Arya Architects’.
Dr. Sanjukkta Bhaduri is a Professor of Urban Planning at SPA, New Delhi. At Present, she is Head of Department, of Urban Planning. She has been the Former Dean (Research) in Urban Planning Department at SPA, New Delhi. She has been the Former Head of the Department of Regional Planning at SPA, New Delhi. She has done Bachelor in Architecture from Jadavpur University (1983), Masters in City Planning from I.I.T Kharagpur (1985) and Ph.D. from SPA, New Delhi (2003). She has 37 years of professional, research, and teaching experience in the fields of Urban Planning and Environmental Planning; Her areas of special interest are Smart cities, Sustainable Development of settlements, Participatory Planning, Social aspects related to Planning, Disaster Management, Urban Environmental Management, Assessment of Environmental Impacts, Energy and Urban Development, Environmental Quality of Human Settlements, Smart cities. She has 2 Online Courses (MOOC) on the Swayam Platform – City and Metropolitan Planning and Urban Disaster Risk Management and Climate Resilient Development. She has 2 patents – Systems and Methods for Local Area Planning and Application for Street Vendors and Town Vending committee. She has successfully guided 6 Ph.D. scholars who have been awarded their Doctorate degree and currently she is guiding 7 scholars.
Dr. Roopal Deshpande, architect-planner, doctorate and an academician, is associate professor at Smt. Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture, Nagpur. She is co-author of the book, The Rural Studio, published by Council of Architecture, New Delhi. She has published several papers in National and International journals. She has conducted History of Architecture workshops for students of architecture. She is associated with National Civil Defence Academy, Govt. of India, as expert speaker for subject of Earthquake Resistant Design.
Dr. Namrata Tharwani Gaurkhede, architect-urban planner, is an assistant professor at Smt. Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture, Nagpur. She has a B. Arch and PhD from VNIT, Nagpur and M. Plan from SPA, New Delhi. She has worked as a planner at Naya Raipur Development Authority, GIFT city, DB City in Raipur. She is an Executive Committee Member, ITPI Nagpur Chapter 2025-27 and Assistant Editor JIIA.

Part Time: In-service candidates, candidates who are employed as faculty/ staff/ project staff working in any Technical Institute, or candidates working in any public/ private sector organization who desire to pursue research on a part-time basis.
