Ishita, campus placed at L&T, Chennai, came to meet our principal madam and teachers. She conducted career counselling session for second year students.
Our student, Ms Ingela Shahzad, has been selected by L&T, as GET in its recruitment drive for an Annual Package of 6.02 Lacs. We at SMMCA, Placement Cell, congratulate her and wish her a bright future ahead.
2020-21
With more increasing importance to the campus hiring, it’s always our constant endeavour to find the best possible jobs for the merited students of our institution. With that inherent belief, it is worth mentioning that recruiters from varied fields have responded very enthusiastically and rated our students very high. Their abilities are well attested by the excellent reports we receive from the recruiting companies. We have a very strong engagement with industry partners. A large number of companies from across diverse set of industries hire students from Women’s Education Society’s Smt. Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture for various business, technology and other functions.
SMMCA has a vision to reach global standards and be a place that nurtures talent and catalytically shapes the career of our students.
To align with our vision, Major recruiters Godrej and Boyce, Mumbai, Base 4, Nagpur and other established companies like Pratibha Designers, Way Consultants, Grasshoperdesign, and V. K. Associates from Nagpur actively participates in entire campus placement activity.
Godrej and Boyce conducted a campus placement drive for students of Architecture and Interior Design colleges of Nagpur, virtual mode, this year looking at pandemic situation. Talent Acquisition team from Godrej and Boyce conducted the entire procedure of selection in five rounds.
Out of 12 students selected from Nagpur, 9 are from SMMCA. Names of Selected students from SMMCA are as follows

2019-20
Campus Placement at Smt. Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture, by Godrej and Boyce
A campus placement drive for students of Architecture was held at Women’s Education Society’s Smt. Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture on 4th December 2019.
A four people Talent Acquisition wing of Godrej and Boyce conducted the entire procedure.
The eligibility criteria for applying for the said company was floated among students, and willing students applied for this campus placement drive.
There were four rounds for selection of students. They are as follows,
Round 1: Aptitude Test
Round 2: English proficiency test
Round 3: Computer Software Skills
Round 4: Personal Interviews
The placement drive was open for all colleges of Architecture and Interior Design Colleges from Nagpur. Students from four colleges participated in this placement drive, those are SMMCA, VNIT, PIADS and Somalwar.
Total 76 students appeared in Round 1, out of which 36 were from SMMCA and 31 students were shortlisted for Interviews, out of which 14 were from SMMCA.
At the end of Round 4, they selected total 10 students out of which 4 are from SMMCA.

These students will be joining Godrej and Boyce after their 10th semester gets over at a salary of Rs. 35000/- per month.
